Five sectors that have the potential for greater use of financial instruments in the future are the subject of the new fi-compass sectoral stocktaking studies. As well as a full report and Executive Summary, five case studies and separate sectoral fiches have been produced to provide targeted information for managing authorities seeking to use financial instruments to support investment in the following key sectors:
The FIRECE project - fi-compass support for energy efficiency and renewable energy financial instruments
On 17-18th January 2019, fi-compass delivered a workshop for managing authorities and other stakeholders from the FIRECE project. Member States are being encouraged to more than double the amount of financial instruments that use the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD). Regional seminars in Riga and Vienna, as well as first European conference in Dublin have already taken place, organised by fi-compass in support of this goal.
