10th annual EU conference on EAFRD financial instruments
Mark your calendar today for the 10th annual EU conference on EAFRD financial instruments, organised by the European Commission, Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development (DG AGRI), and the European Investment Bank (EIB). The event will take place on Thursday, 28 November 2024 in Madrid, Spain.
A networking dinner will also take place on the evening prior the conference, on Wednesday, 27 November 2024.
FI Campus 2024
The European Commission and the European Investment Bank (EIB) organised the fifth edition of the flagship FI Campus event on 25, 26 and 27 June 2024 in Brussels. The tagline for this year's edition was 'Carrying the torch for financial instruments’.
The event featured a fireside chat with European Commissioner Elisa Ferreira and the President of the European Investment Bank Nadia Calviño on the future of Cohesion Policy and the role of financial instruments and the EIB.
Audit of financial instruments in the 2021-2027 programming period
The European Commission – Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy (DG REGIO) and the European Investment Bank (EIB) organised the online webinar ‘Audit of financial instruments in the 2021-2027 programming period', on Thursday, 21 March 2024.
The webinar shared the key topics discussed between practitioners during the recent fi-compass Knowledge Hub during which participants, including representatives from DG REGIO’s Audit Unit with responsibility for financial instruments (FI), considered the new audit methodology published by the European Commission for the audit of FI in the 2021-2027 programming period.
