FI Campus 2025: 10-year anniversary of fi-compass
Come and celebrate with us at FI Campus, the fi-compass flagship event organised by the European Commission and the European Investment Bank. Taking place on 25, 26 and 27 November 2025 in Brussels, Belgium, participants will have the opportunity to network and discuss key practical topics related to financial instruments under the 2021-2027 EU shared management funds.
Building upon the 10-year legacy of fi-compass, the event will also focus on future opportunities and challenges. It will gather managing authorities, bodies implementing financial instruments, representatives from the European Commission and the European Investment Bank Group, and other stakeholders.

The fi-compass Showcase invites all stakeholders involved in EU shared management financial instruments to share their stories of impact, collaboration, and innovation. Whether you're a managing authority, intermediary, or final recipient, this is your opportunity to shine. Shortlisted entries will be featured at FI Campus 2025, taking place on 25-27 November 2025 in Brussels, where the fi-compass community will vote for their favourite success stories. The top three entries—one from each theme—will take home the coveted Showcase 2025 Trophy.
The deadline for entries is 10 November 2025.
11th annual EU conference on EAFRD financial instruments
The 11th annual EU conference on EAFRD financial instruments, held in Milan, focused on a specific theme – Financing the transition to resilient EU agri-food systems and sustainable farming. Jointly organised by the European Commission and the EIB, the conference brought together over 160 participants from across Europe, including policymakers, financial institutions, and leaders from the agri-food sector, to discuss how to enhance access to finance for a more sustainable and resilient agricultural sector.

fi-compass thematic workshop - Berlin
In September the European Commission's Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy (DG REGIO) and the European Investment Bank (EIB) held a fi-compass thematic workshop on 'ERDF financial instruments for innovation - Exploring new models combining equity and loans with grants', in Berlin, Germany.
