9th annual EU conference on EAFRD financial instruments

The European Commission – Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development (DG AGRI) and the European Investment Bank (EIB) organise the 9th annual EU conference on EAFRD financial instruments 'New generation financial instruments for agriculture and rural development'.
Janusz Wojciechowski, European Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development will open the event.
Particular focus will be given to the outcomes of the 2023 fi-compass survey of the financing needs and access to credit conditions for farmers and agri-food enterprises in the EU.

Thematic Workshop - Implementation of grants and financial instruments combined in a single operation
The European Commission – Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy (DG REGIO) and the European Investment Bank (EIB) organised the online thematic fi-compass workshop ‘Implementation of grants and financial instruments combined in a single operation', on Friday, 30 June 2023.
The workshop shared the key topics discussed at the recent fi-compass Knowledge Hub, during which practitioners had exchanged their experience and best practice relating to the implementation (and proposed implementation) of grants and financial instruments (FI) in a single operation.
The session included also an extended Q&A where participants engaged with the panel on any topic related to the combination of financial instruments with grants.
