Microfinance for universities

Microfinance instruments can be useful sources of support for Microcredit Institutions pursuing  'Responsible Inclusive Finance and Customer Empowerment'. This topic was discussed during a dedicated workshop held in Germany last week at the annual ‘University Meets Microfinance’ initiative.

Funded by fi-compass EaSI Technical Assistance, the event attracted more than 60 participants and featured advice about important microfinance issues such as implementing Social Performance Management, Client Protection, Financial Literacy and the European Code of Good Conduct for Microcredit Provision. See the workshop's programme for further information about the event.
