We would like to share the invitation to the INFORM EU thematic seminar that will take place on 11-13 March in Pilsen, Czech Republic. The topic is Communicating financial instruments. The seminar is organised by DG REGIO in cooperation with the Czech Ministry of Regional Development.
Aim & topic
The seminar will cover the topic of communication and financial instruments. In particular, it will focus on regulatory provisions concerning visibility and financial instruments, the implementation structure (i.e. roles, actors and responsibilities), practical implementation of the provisions (i.e. different approaches and good examples in MS and programmes) and support that is being provided both from EU institutions and MS side. Participants will also be welcome to discuss other communication/awareness raising activities and good practices, that could help with the up-take of financial instruments.
Participants
The primary target audience consists of communication officers, but also officers involved in financial instruments who deal with visibility/awareness raising matters. A maximum of 25 participants will attend the seminar.
Participants will be selected based on the expression of interest received through EU Survey (please see below), considering the professional role and experience, funds responsibility and geographical balance. A good knowledge of conversational English is required to participate in the thematic seminar. Selected participants will be reimbursed for travel costs and accommodation. Both lunch and dinner will be provided.
Expressing interest
If you’re interested in joining the event and share your experience on communication and financial instruments, please fill in the EU Survey.
Please note that the deadline was exceptionally prolonged, so submissions would be appreciated by noon on Friday 6 February 2026.
