Simplified rules and a broader remit for financial instruments were among the key topics presented during our ‘Fourth annual EU conference on EAFRD financial instruments for agriculture and rural development in 2014-2020’ that took place in Bulgaria from June 5 – 6. Over 200 delegates participated in the conference and these included managing authorities of the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD), financial intermediaries interested in using EAFRD financial instruments, experts from the European Commission and European Investment Bank Group, as well as a variety of other EAFRD stakeholders.
The Second fi-compass ESF Conference ‘Financial instruments funded by the European Social Fund – boosting social impact’ was a two day event on 8 and 9 March 2018 in Brussels focusing on social impact investing and financial instruments under the European Social Fund (ESF).
FI Campus was a three day event organised by the European Commission in partnership with the European Investment Bank (EIB). Over 350 participants from across Europe gathered in Brussels under the FI Campus theme of ‘financial instruments, powered by you’ to discuss the implementation of financial instruments using the European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF). Further information about FI Campus is available here.
