This video case study explains how the ERDF-powered Biznesmax with a simple first-loss portfolio guarantee is supporting the development of innovative entrepreneurs as well as green projects in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Poland. Thanks to a loan granted by BNP Paribas Bank Polska S.A of around EUR 1.7 million under the ERDF co-financed Biznesmax guarantee, Huras Konstrukcja i Budowa Maszyn sp. z o.o. (‘Huras’), a globally active family-owned company manufacturing machinery and specialised equipment in Nowa Wieś Legnicka, Poland, was able to develop and grow – even during challenging times.

Armat, giving plastics a new life

Armat is a family-run business located in Wilczkowice Górne, Masovian Voivodeship, Poland. The company is a producer and wholesale supplier of synthetic construction materials, including a range of foils used in construction and agriculture. The company recycles specific types of plastic waste into granules which are then re-used. Thanks to the ERDF Biznesmax guarantee, Armat could expand and renovate its existing office building and install a photovoltaic system to partly cover the company’s energy use.

Interjarek, green energy for a resilient family business

Interjarek Sp. z o. o. is a family-owned company in the Greater Poland Voivodeship, producing a wide range of spices, seasoning mixtures and hampers. Thanks to the ERDF Biznesmax guarantee the company undertook an investment to install a photovoltaic system of more than 1 300 solar panels, covering nearly all of their energy needs.
