Abstract

With the fi-compass online learning format to help managing authorities on the completion of the reporting template for ESIF financial instruments, managing authorities and other stakeholders in charge of reporting on financial instruments to the European Commission have an opportunity to hear in comprehensive video presentations from DG REGIO experts about the reporting requirements, features of the updated annotated reporting template and practical examples.

The learning format consists of:

  • STEP 1: Managing authorities could submit proposals for specific subjects and questions related to the reporting requirements;
  • STEP 2: A set of comprehensive video presentations where the experts discuss on reporting requirements in detail was made available on the fi compass website ;
  • STEP 3: Managing authorities have now the opportunity to submit further questions: the respective answers will be published shortly after on the fi-compass website.

fi-compass online learning format for managing authorities – The reporting template for ESIF financial instruments, June 2017

All managing authorities are required by Article 46 Common Provisions Regulation (No 1303/2013, CPR) to send to the European Commission a specific report covering the operations comprising financial instruments. Implementing Regulation (EU) No 821/2014 includes further details on the reporting obligations. An updated annotated reporting template for ESIF financial instruments and respective questions and answers (Q&A) have been recently shared with the managing authorities by the European Commission and are also available on the fi-compass resource's library as well as in the box with relevant resources in the bottom of this page.

In this respect, fi-compass has developed an online learning format to help managing authorities on the completion of the reporting template for ESIF financial instruments, which is now available on the fi-compass hub.

Managing authorities and other stakeholders in charge of reporting on financial instruments to the European Commission have an opportunity to hear in comprehensive video presentations first-hand from DG REGIO experts about the reporting requirements, its features and practical examples.

The video presentations about the reporting template are in the box below.

Please click the blue ‘play’ arrow icons to open each of the videos.

Each video presentation can be either viewed directly in the browser or downloaded.

    The deadline for managing authorities to submit further questions on the reporting requirements within ‘STEP 3’ was Wednesday, 21 June 2017.

    fi-compass will announce within the next days via email once the ‘STEP 3’ is completed and the updated Q&A is available on the fi-compass website.

    The online format about the reporting template is a new learning tool of fi-compass. We look very much forward to feedback of the viewers from managing authorities if the format was useful for them. Please fill out this questionnaire, scan and send it to events@fi-compass.eu until 14 July 2017.
